The perfect blend of heat and flavor.

Meet the Scotch Bonnet

Native to the Caribbean Islands, the Scotch Bonnet pepper is used to flavor many different dishes and cuisines worldwide. This tropical delicacy has a flavor distinct from its Habanero cousin giving jerk recipes and other Caribbean dishes their unique flavor. Fresh, ripe scotch bonnets change from green to colors ranging to pumpkin orange to scarlet red.

On the heat scale, the scotch bonnet is about fifty times hotter than a jalapeno pepper. Our Island Mojo Hot Sauce recipe has that perfect balance of heat and flavor we like to describe as “restaurant hot”. So no worries, the heat won’t burn you up, but the flavor will blow you away!
